To expand on the birth of Jesus, we want to emphasize that the King of Kings was not delivered in a deluxe, celebrity delivery room. Mary and Joseph had to settle in a stable with animals. Jesus' first bed was a manger which is really a structure used to store food for animals. Nothing glamorous about it. To us, the manger is reflective how humble our Lord is more so how His circumstances don't define who He is. The same goes for us. Humility will take us a long way and we shouldn't let the situations we find ourselves in define who we are in the end.
