The beautiful virgin Mary, chosen by God to bring His only begotten son into the world. Can you imagine how scary it may have been to be approached by an angel and told you would carry God's son? Mary's response was that of obedience and courage. She accepted her calling, trusting in God to see her through because the work did not stop once Jesus was born. She had to raise Him just as any other mother would raise her child, except she was raising the Son of God. What courage and faithfulness!
 
Sometimes, the things we hear from God are much more than we think we can handle. We have to remember that God will always be right there, helping us through these adventures, just as He was with Mary. He won't let us fail so long as remain obedient and faithful to Him.
