Many of us know Adam as the first man to walk the earth. The man birthed from clay and the breath of God, made in the likeness of God. With the creation of Adam, God gave man the ability to think, feel, and make choices. Unfortunately, this also meant man would be susceptible to sin.
 
Now, Adam had everything. Did not want for anything. God gave him dominion over everything on earth and companionship through his helper and wife, Eve. Yet somehow, he still managed to fall into the trap placed by Satan. God extended mercy, and though the life of mankind would never be the same from that day forward, it was still blessed and covered by God.
 
We sometimes might believe we're on a good path, doing right by God, when Satan pops up. In fact, it's when we're doing our best that he comes to tempt us and bring us back down to his level. And just like Adam fell, we sometimes fall. And just like Adam, we may be a little bruised after the fall. But just like Adam, we are loved enough by God to be able to get back up again and move forward. Don't let a fall be the end. Get back up!
